Paul ganha Grammy 2011

Paul McCartney acrescenta mais um prêmio à sua lista de conquistas incomparáveis, a estatueta da categoria Melhor Performance Vocal de Rock Solo, no 53 º Grammy Awards.

O Grammy foi para a versão ao vivo de "Helter Skelter" do álbum Good Evening New York City (Hear Music / Concord).




Paul comentou: "Foi uma grande surpresa para mim que veio no final da véspera do Dia dos Namorados. Recebí um texto dizendo: 'Você ganhou o Grammy. Foi brilhante. Mesmo apesar de eu não poder estar lá este ano foi muito emocionante receber a notícia tarde da noite - todos nós fomos à loucura!"

Os Beatles também foram homenageados com o prêmio Melhor Álbum histórico para a caixa Stereo Set com todos os álbuns remasterizados.
